On the afternoon of  27th February, Ismail Hakki Musa, Ambassador of Turkey to China, met with Chen Leiming, Executive President and Secretary-General of CAMT in Beijing, and the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on the prospects of cooperation in the metal materials industry between China and Turkey, bilateral trade promotion and other topics, laying the foundation for deepening cooperation in the future.

Ambassador Ismail Hakki Musa extended a warm welcome to Chen Leiming and his delegation. He said: Turkey and China have a long history of friendly exchanges, and in recent years, bilateral trade cooperation has gradually deepened, and economic development has shown a good trend. Ismail Hakki Musa also gave a detailed introduction to the development status of Turkey's mineral resources, metal materials, and manufacturing industries, as well as the investment and development of Chinese-funded enterprises in Turkey, and hoped that CAMT would lead entrepreneurs to Turkey to carry out friendly exchanges and investment cooperation.

Chen Leiming introduced the basic situation of  CAMT to Ambassador Ismail Hakki Musa . He said that Turkey and China are both ancient civilizations, and Turkey, as an important country along the "Belt and Road", will be an important destination country for CAMT to carry out overseas exchanges and cooperation in 2025. He looks forward to expanding the in-depth cooperation between the two countries in the field of metal material supply chain through visits and exchanges. Chen Leiming also invited representatives of relevant Turkish enterprises to visit China in order to enhance economic and trade exchanges between China and Turkey and promote friendly exchanges between the two peoples.

The two sides reached a preliminary consensus on the cooperation mechanism for jointly holding meetings and carrying out training projects.
